As a master graduate from the University of Architecture of Venice, and driven by insatiable curiosity, I devoted the first part of my career to the most diverse design experiences, spanning from urban scale architectural projects to standalone buildings and the finest hospitality interiors. The skills I have progressively developed allowed me to travel with my work and experience different cultures and approaches to design. In 2006, at the end of a five years process, I was awarded the “Unesco Award Of Distinction” for the best renovation project in Asia Pacific, for the Bund 18 renovation project in Shanghai with Kokaistudios. Since then I decided to focus my career in hospitality interiors, with a specific focus in f&b, joining Hirsch Bedner Associates as a partner and gaining international recognition and awards for my work. In 2020 I left HBA to found Design Emergence, a design practice focused on generating an organisation of creatives emerging from the complexity we are currently observing in our world, with the ultimate ambition to merge all the disciplines of design in a creative continuum, aimed at design excellence and innovation in a constantly evolving environment.
