Conceptual Master Planning
During the conceptual master planning, we evaluate the site, its opportunities and liabilities, and we study and integrate functions and design languages within an overall vision. Based on consultations with our clients and site analysis, we formulate a design brief which summarises the project's objectives, scope, budget, timelines, and any specific design requirements.
Concept Design
The starting point of a great concept can have many possible origins. For example the origin of literature & culture, taking inspiration from local storytelling and mythology. It could be based on the ingenuity of a place with a focus to connect to the site's neighborhood and make it a vital part of the project's fabric. Or it could be based on the concept of space as a function of time. [S=f (t)]. For latter approach Design Emergence ltd developed instruments to evaluate the ability of a space to change over time, turning planning into a quadric-dimensional exercise.
Operational Design
Translation of occupants’ or guests’ needs, preferences, and behaviours into functional aspects of the space for best user experience – Design Emergence ltd’s extensive experience in high-end hospitality projects has provided them with particular insight into hotel operations, which results in effective operational planning. F&B Design
Design Emergence ltd has high expertise in F&B integration into hotel design, standalone ‘destination’ restaurants and bars, or flexible all-day dining that accommodate multiple modes of operation. Our services include space planning and FF&E, in conjunction with add-on services – provided in collaboration with our strategic partners – which include furniture design, kitchen equipment, design & mill-work, tableware, lighting design, curation of art & accessories, as well as naming, branding, uniform design and signage & way finding.

Brand development
Together with our strategic partner and branding specialist, Design Emergence ltd creates brand experience within physical space and develops brand concepts. We are passionate about understanding your goals, your clientele, their preferences and shared values. Lighting Design
Our considered and sustainable lighting design, enables us to transform the ambiance, improve usability, highlight architectural features, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of a space. By adjusting the lighting levels or using lighting fixtures strategically, we can create visual boundaries, separate areas with distinct functions, and establish a sense of hierarchy within a space. To promote comfort and well-being of occupants and visitors, we use artificial lighting that mimics daylight to positively affect mood, circadian rhythm, and overall health.
Curation and Staging
Staging and curation of art, accessories or plants enables us to create spacial experiences by telling a story through space. It allows us to evoke specific emotions, create a desired atmosphere, and communicate a narrative. It can be used to draw attention to unique features or architectural elements of a space, showcaseing functionality, or simply create visually pleasing, and emotionally engaging environments that meets the needs and desires of our clients.
Production & Implementation
The actual execution, construction, and installation of the design elements. – At this point we will bring the design concept to life and turn it into a tangible and functional space. Our construction documentation includes, drawings, specifications, and instructions that provide guidance to contractors, craftsmen, and vendors regarding the materials, finishes, dimensions, and installation methods to be used. Material procurement, overseeing construction and installation, the production of custom mill-work and furniture, as well as visiting sites for quality control, are part of this service.
Project Management
While Design Emergence ltd takes the overall lead in managing the project, individual strategic partner teams additional provide their own project managers. Extensive experience, a high level of discipline and the use of state of the art technology, enable us to plan and manage our client’s projects so that every objective and deliverable is completed on time and within budget.
